IL PRATICATO TIBERINO |
||
| The artisans of the Upper Tiber Valley in Umbria IL PRATICATO TIBERINO flooring takes its name from the area in which it was created, namely, the Tiber Valley, in Upper Umbria, the green heart of Italy. This region is well-known for its lush, uncontaminated nature and sacred places, and is where the tradition and art of the past have survived to the present day. Our master carpenters produce this flooring both to continue tradition, and give value, simplicity and charm to the places in which it is laid. This has given rise to IL PRATICATO TIBERINO, flooring built in solid natural wood only, using single planks of noble timber. Glue, additives and toxic substances are not used in production. Our passion for both wood and tradition means we take painstaking care over choosing the materials we use, including our personalised stains and oil or wax finishes, all of which are biocompatible and natural. Wood can be hand brushed, levelled, split or planed, and timber planks nailed or wire-brushed by hand to produce different aging effects. All flooring can be supplied both raw and pre-finished, and customers can chose the stain they prefer, personalised, and after viewing a sample. They also have the opportunity of selecting the type of processing they prefer, from the many available. Il Praticato Tiberino also features a wide range of classical and modern finishes which, besides the stains available on request, also includes wenge, bleached durmast and natural durmast, both levelled and brushed. All flooring is produced using timber planks of varying lengths and widths, making any floor we produce |
